Prior becoming a realtor® at Coldwell Banker and joining the Adewuya Group, Van worked as an engineer for a heavy construction company where she was assigned on different projects. These projects would result in her moving from state to state for 15 years. As a new to town person, Van faced difficulties of finding a good place to live while not knowing the areas or who to ask.
Due to personal experiences, Van understands the pressure and the stress of moving to a new place. Her goal is to help her clients to have a smooth transition whether it is out of state clients or local clients. Her engineering background enhances her analytical skills which she uses housing data to provide facts based on the current market. She is result-oriented and client driven. Her priority has always focused on serving and meeting clients’ expectations. In order to meet clients’ expectations, her work shows transparency which means she stays in constant communication with her clients, updating them on status, and guiding her clients throughout the selling, buying, or leasing process. Being an engineer often equates to problem solver, it enables her to come up with solutions to resolve issues or potential conflicts quickly.
Van’s background and experiences drive her ambition in helping her clients to achieve their American dreams. Once her clients work with her, it’s not just a transaction, it’s the relationship she builds with them. Van enjoys her work and her satisfaction is to see her clients with a happy smile on their faces, knowing their American dreams may come true.
In addition, these traveling years allowed Van to meet new people, adapted to new environments quickly, and worked with different people from other cultures. She strongly believes in diversity. She loves learning about other traditions. With that, it strengthens her relationship with her clients, aware of their cultures.
Van enjoys a work life balance. Besides real estate, she loves outdoor activities, volunteers, and spends time with family and friends.
